Reliquary For A Shade Tree

The lovely little inner city neighborhood I lived in while raising my children

became the victim of gentrification and over the past 7 years it lost many

of it's beautiful mature shade trees at the hands of developers. This piece

is about that loss and the leaves of four different hardwoods appear on it's sides.
