Reliquary for a Mourning Dove

I love having the mourning doves in my yard and enjoy their morning and evening

calls. One year the white winged doves moved in and being the bigger bird,

they chased the mourning doves off. I missed the mourning doves so I started this piece.

I worked on it off and on for almost a year and I noticed that just when I

was finishing it, the mourning doves were starting to come back.
